Sellitto recalled -Hill acquired; Latest fights/incidents

Mike Sellitto, who was on assignment from the AHL was recalled today. Sellitto played in 20 games and scored 11 points. Recently, the IceGators have had 18 available players but can only dress 17, and Sellitto has been the one sitting out. He did play Friday night when Sicard was suspended.

Jason Hill was acquired in a trade with Fayetteville for future considerations. Hill has 16 points in 15 games so it looks like this is an upgrade for the IceGators. It is always good to upgrade on offense but the defense needs some big time adjustments. Hopefully there will be some changes on defense in the near future.

A look at the defense:

Jeff Bieber +9  2 points
Gentry Zollars even  1 point (only 8 games)
Ryan Fultz -1  7 points
Paul D'Agostino -1 (only 8 games)
Tobias Carlsson -11 4 points
Eric Tallent -13 4 points

With a team that has let up so many more goals than goals scored, a rating of +9 is amazing, and even and -1 is not bad. But being in negative double figures is not good.

In other news, check out the Frozen Fights section for the latest incidents. Sicard's fight with the Huntsville goalie and the post game altercation are available.
