Final Roster set for IceGators

The biggest surprise of the final roster is the decision to keep 3 goalies. The goalie race was a tight one and with the new rules for this season, this may turn out to be a great decision. This season a team may sign 18 players but can only dress 17 players, so my guess is the inactive player will rotate between goalies. This means the Gators will always have a fresh netminder. Possibly sometime in the season one or two goalies will stand out and the team will decide to cut a goalie to bring in another position player that is needed for whatever reason - injuries, poor performance of another player, suspensions, etc.

The roster has 9 forwards and 6 defensemen, which will make 3 full lines. It is loaded with talent and should bring a great season to the Cajun Dome.
